About Us

We are located on the corner of West Franklin Street and Flagg Chapel Lane (Milledgeville, GA). Our Sunday school and worship service are every Sunday beginning at 09:45 and 11:00 a.m. respectively via Conference Call (Sunday School) and Facebook Live (worship service), during the Pandemic. We also have an additional service (1st Sunday Praise & Worship Express) that will resume when it is safe to return to the Sanctuary. We are members of the National Baptist Convention, the General Missionary Baptist Convention of Georgia, the Second Middle Georgia Ushers and Missions Convention, and have formulated the Middle Georgia Baptist Association (March 2020) comprising of educational meetings and/or training for the Baptist churches in our area. In spite of having to adjust to virtual and/or conference call meetings, we are grateful for the opportunity to come together as a church family to study the Word of God every Wednesday via conference call. The lesson information is distributed via email. If you would like more information, please email us at flagg.chapel400@gmail.com. Our Vacation Bible School (annually in June) will resume when it is safe to do so. Finally, but certainly not the least, we celebrate the Birth of Jesus on Christmas Day which has been customary for over ten (10) years. Of course, this year (2020) may possibly be a little different than our normal “in-person” celebration; but, none the less, We Will Celebrate!

Not only are we spiritually fed as we study God’s word, but we are also blessed to be able to celebrate God’s goodness during the following events: Church Anniversary, Pastor’s Anniversary, Family Fun Day (June), Revival & Homecoming (September), the Church Christmas Social and Christmas Day service. We are a church where Everybody is Somebody and we Praise the Name of Jesus! Oh, and one more thing, we have outreach ministries during normal conditions: a dynamic luncheon for the senior citizens, Fall Festival (October), Class Act, Royal Ambassadors, Senior and Junior Missionaries (serving locally and internationally), the Benevolent Club, EMPACT Sports, and an annual First Responders Breakfast for those in and around Baldwin County. We have a growing Bread/Food Ministry that has continued even during the Pandemic supplying families with just a little extra at mealtime that doesn’t have a bearing on their budgets. Please note: all of our ‘in-person‘ activities are suspended for now; however, we are still finding innovative ways through social media and contactless deliveries, etc. to do what has to be done.

After all that you have read up to this point, you probably would not imagine that there is more!  Yes, there is; and, we would love you to connect with us and be a part of all that we are doing and will do as we work to be of service to one another as Jesus did for us all. We hope to hear from you very soon.

What We Believe

Our belief is ...
There is only one true and living God.
An infinite, intelligent Spirit, the Maker and Supreme Ruler of Heaven and Earth. In the unity of the Godhead there are three persons, the Father, the Eternal Son of God, and the Holy Ghost equal in every divine perfection and executing (distinctively & harmoniously) in the GREAT work of Redemption.
The Lord’s Supper (Communion)
is a symbolic act of obedience whereby members of the church, through partaking of the bread and the wine (fruit of the vine), memorialize the death of the Redeemer and anticipate His second coming.
Man, God’s special creation,
was created in God’s own image. Male and female are the crowning Works of His creation.
Salvation is free,
and is offered freely to all who accepts Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. There is no other means of salvation other than through Jesus Christ
Baptism
immersion of a believer in water in the Name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

○ is an act of obedience symbolizing the believer’s faith in a crucified, buried, and
risen Savior.
○ signifies the believer’s death to sin, the burial of the old life, and the resurrection to walk in newness of life in Christ Jesus
○ is a testimony to the believer’s faith in the final resurrection of the dead
○ As a church ordinance, baptism is a prerequisite to the privileges of church membership and to the Lord’s Supper

Upcoming Event

All creation will be able to separate us that is in Jesus Christ our Lord.
