Welcome to the Flagg Chapel Baptist Church
Developing fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ
our mission
Our mission is to glorify God through worship, serve our community with love and compassion, and nurture a growing faith in Jesus Christ. We seek to create a welcoming and inclusive environment where all people can come to know the love of God, grow in their relationship with Jesus, and be empowered by the Holy Spirit to make a positive impact in the world. We are committed to spreading the message of salvation, supporting those in need, and building a loving and supportive church family that encourages one another on our faith journey. We are the church where everybody is somebody, and Jesus Christ is everything.
Dr. Omer M. Reid, Pastor
The Vision of Flagg Chapel Baptist Church
The vision of Flagg Chapel Baptist Church is to “continue following the directives of God!” We believe that the vision of anything belongs to its founder, and the church belongs to Jesus Christ. He established it, and only He can “effectively” direct it. We believe He lives and gives directives to His chosen pastors as He did with Moses, Joshua, and all of the Prophets who were wise enough to listen and follow ever since the Exodus of Egypt. We further believe that Jesus set forth the church’s mission in St. Matthew 28:19-20, and, with all that is within us, we steadfastly focus on the mission while listening for the next directive from our Lord, Jesus Christ.
